چکیده

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) has become a major clinical challenge worldwide due to rise of urbanisation, surplus energy intake, increasing obesity and sedentary lifestyle. C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6) interleukin-18 (IL-18) are associated with MetS. We performed systematic review investigate the effects exercise on these markers in MetS patients therefore determine best regime for them. searched Medline (Pubmed Ovid), Scopus CINAHL databases. The searches were standardized by using same search strategy which included terms such as ‘metabolic syndrome’, ‘CRP’, ‘IL-6’, ‘IL-18’ ‘exercise’. Only human studies published from Jan 2007 May 2018 included. A total 11 trials (466 participants) selected. Majority randomized controlled (90.9%). All showed decrease serum levels biomarkers. However, not all statistically significant. main type most was aerobic. Aerobic-resistance more effective rather than aerobic alone, but only sole intervention. Aerobic promising role lifestyle intervention It is concluded that should have combined aerobic-resistance exercise.

The Effect of Exercise Training on Inflammatory Markers in Patient with Metabolic Syndrome: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Introduction: Metabolic syndrome is associated with an increase in chronic inflammation, in which exercise training may be an effective intervention for the improvement of inflammatory markers. Accordingly, this study aimed to investigate the effect of exercise training on the inflammatory markers of interleukin 6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), and C-reactive protein (CRP) in pati...

Clinical Significance of Serum TNF-a and IL-6 Levels in Patients with Metabolic Syndrome

Background: Several components of metabolic syndrome (MetS) facilitate its diagnosis, including abdominal obesity, hyperlipidemia, high blood pressure, and insulin resistance. The production of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) seem to be associated with MetS components. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between  the serum levels...
